1. Pre-configuration Preparation
Before setup, obtain a valid TGV proxy node. Three core pieces of information are required. Please confirm all details are correct:
- Server Address
- Port Number
- Secret Key

2. Two Configuration Methods
Method 1: Manual Configuration
Step 1: Open Telegram and enter proxy settings
- Launch Telegram (mobile and desktop procedures are identical)
- Tap the menu icon in the top-left corner and select "Proxy"
- Find "Proxy Links" and select "Add Proxy"
Step 2: Add and enable MTProto proxy
- Click "Add Proxy"
- Select the proxy type: MTProto Proxy
- Fill in the server address, port and secret key carefully
- Confirm and enable the proxy to start connection
Method 2: One-Click Auto Configuration (Recommended)
- Open the one-click link in your browser
- The link will redirect automatically to Telegram with a pop-up prompt
- Click "Add Proxy" to finish setup instantly
3. Common Issues & Solutions
1. What is MTProto Proxy?
MTProto is an official dedicated proxy protocol developed for Telegram. It delivers better stability and anti-blocking performance compared with regular proxies, while protecting your communication privacy and security.
2. Failed to connect?
- Double-check your server address, port and secret key
- Make sure the target port is open and not blocked by firewalls
- Replace your proxy node if the current one is blocked
3. Incorrect secret key?
The secret key is a complete string, usually starting with ee or dd. Do not add spaces or extra characters. Copy the full key to avoid missing content.
4. One-click link not working?
- Use Chrome or Edge for better compatibility
- Allow browser redirects to Telegram in system settings
- Copy the link and open it directly inside Telegram
5. Web parsing error?
This error occurs when your browser cannot resolve Telegram proxy links. Open the link inside Telegram or switch to Chrome/Edge.
